The inspiration behind DotBots

Mark Ongena – Founder

More than 20 years active as an ICT entrepreneur, with a focus on digital processes, automation, and document-driven technology. DotBots builds on the technological foundations that Mark developed throughout his career, but stands today as a completely independent company.

Why DotBots had to exist

Organizations have been struggling with the same paradox for years:

Knowledge is crucial, but scattered.

Documentation exists, but is hardly found.

Employees have questions, but answers are trapped in heads or folder structures.

AI is promising, but too complex to implement practically.

The conclusion was inevitable: critical business data must always be available to the right people — safely, intelligently, and in seconds. DotBots was developed to make exactly that possible.

The gap in the market

There was no platform that:

• makes knowledge from documents, procedures, and contracts so easily accessible, internally and externally

• works GDPR-first, with European data standards

• goes live in minutes, without complex implementations

• allows both building bots and distributing bots within teams
